FIR against Chunchanagiri maTa

The Forest land acquisition FIR filed by Government against Adi Chunchanagiri maTa… and its subsequent denial by the CM himself. And all confusions…

In Karnataka, the maTa’s play a major role in determining politics. Each maTa represents a Caste. A political party which respects all the maTa’s can come into power.

The forest department had filed FIR against the Adi Chunchanagiri Mata for illegally acquiring forest land. But the very next day, the CM and his Forest Minister Chennigappa went to Shri Shri Shri Shri Shri Balagangadharanaatha Swaami and prostrated into his feet and came back.

And the media were sent earlier invitation to attend this informal function. CM said: “this was to clarify the people that nothing has went wrong with maTa and government.”

What i suspect:
This is not just what I suspec, but what most of the people suspect. Devegowda used Chunchanagiri maTa to keep his illegal earnings safely. During 2005, Balagangadhara refused to pay back Devegowda’s money. Balagangadhara had made ties with DK Shivakumar and SM Krishna group and betrayed Devegowda. This made Gowda angry. And Gowda proceeded to make a new swamiji for his caste.

Just think properly. What issue will a politician have with a swamiji? And what issue should swamiji have with a politician? A swami is a one who has left all the material things of life. I find no swamiji today of the stature of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda used to sleep in a park during night when he went to Chikago.

Devegowda has now instructed his son to take action against the maTa. So was the move by the forest department. But suddenly Devegowda might have felt that this will be a risky move. So the government has taken back the FIR and is saying that no such things happened.

DK Shivakumar has shown the records to media people and claimed that FIR was surely registered. He has challenged that he will resign to his post, if they prove the records to be false. The media which is busy scolding cricket players and reporting the happy happy birthday of Swamiji’s has not reported this news properly. The media have reported about the CM-Swamiji meeting but has not reported about the records shown by DK Shivakumar.  The press and TV people might have not asked the CM about these records because, they know that the CM gives a MTR ready made answer: “this is a conspiracy by our enemies to tarnish my image. i know who is doing all these things. I will reveal their names in correct time”
